A workman-like performance from the team saw them beat Blunsdon thanks to a Max goal in the first half. Special mention must go to Connor for dragging himself from his sick bed to play. Get well soon!

Wasps A Vs cricklade (10/11/07)
The Wasps had a fantastic result in the Saturday morning match. 4 goals each for Jacob Makin and Matt Godwin with 1 more from Stevie Thomas saw the Wasps run out 9-2 winners. All the boys played extremely well with Matt Morris (man of the Match) capping the defenders performance. Taylor kindly played for Cricklade as they only had 6 players, scoring 1 and making 1. I hope all of the boys who took part enjoyed it as much as the coaches did.

League Comeback! Wanborough 7 Highworth 3
| More pictures... |
What a game! After a disappointing cup loss, Wanborough bounced back this week. We went 1-0 down at the start but went on to win 7-3 in a goal-fest orchestrated by man-of-the-match Luke Gay.
It was a game of high technical ability. Great movement and spirit was shown by both teams.

Saturday's game was a good even match with lots of tackling. Both teams defended well. A goal from Cameron Smith in the first half proved decisive in the end though.

The match was even and well fought with both sides having good chances. Unfortunately, Wanborough were not able to convert theirs into goals. The final score did not reflect the hard work and effort put in by the entire Wanborough team.

As we haven't established this years groupings, selection for this week's fixtures will be made at the discretion of the coaches. We are hopeful that a grouping system similar to last year will be in place by the end of September.
